Here are the places where you can visit in Surigao del Sur.

Lianga Bay Lighthouse
Perhaps one of the most stunning, yet practically unknown, of the Philippine lighthouses is the Lianga Bay Lighthouse, which sits atop one of the many islets dotting Lianga Bay in Mindanao. Nowadays, it serves a community of mostly fishermen and farmers in the coastal town of Lianga and its environs which lie between Mount Diwata and the Pacific Ocean.
Built in the 1960’s, the lighthouse used to guide container vessels delivering goods to nearby areas in the absence of a road network in Mindanao until the Nasipit port and the Pan-Pacific Highway were built. The strategic location of Lianga Bay was also sought by ships as far as Davao for sanctuary in the event of strong typhoons.
Its records lost to natural disasters, the storied past of the lighthouse lives in the hearts and minds of the townspeople of Lianga, for whom the Lianga Bay Lighthouse is a source of local pride.

Laswitan lagoon Surigao del Sur
I strongly recommend that you visit this place because this is just one of the variety of places Surigao del Sur has for travelers who are thirsty for new adventures.
Laswitan Lagoon, a rock-bounded spot composing of three lagoons with varying sizes, recently made waves on the internet and got flashed on national TV. This lagoon, which is not one of the many beaches in the Philippines, provides a different taste of fun, giving you the special chance to get splashed by water from behind the rock boundaries of the lagoon.

Enchanted River Surigao del Sur
Hidden in the Philippine jungle is a short stretch of river that seems to pop up out the ground just to send its miraculously clear, blue water out to sea.
The Hinatuan Enchanted River in Mindanao, Philippines, is a flawless saltwater river that flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is around 80-feet deep, and just barely long enough to be considered a river, yet the flow attracts visitors from around the world who want to experience the beautiful waters that locals have long thought to be miraculous.
In fact, no one is sure exactly where the saltwater emanates from, although the prevailing theory involves an underground cave system which spits the river out, free of any dirt or silt which would usually cloud such a stream. Whatever the explanation, the clean waters are a natural wonder unlike any other.

Tinuy-an falls Surigao del Sur
Tinuy-an Falls is one of the major tourist attractions in Bislig, Surigao de Sur. It is a multi-tiered waterfalls featuring a curtain-life drop on its middle tier. It is approximately 55m high and 100m wide. Some travelers would call it as the Niagara Falls of the Philippines and is also said to be the widest in the country.

Britannia Group of Islands
Britania Group of Islands is located in Brgy. Britania in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. It is comprised of 24 islands and islets in the crystal clear waters of Lianga bay at the eastern part of Mindanao. Most of these islands are uninhabited and only a few of them have a beach. It’s definitely Surigao del Sur’s best-kept secret.
